Central Birmingham Springs (CBS) started trading in April 1993, serving local and national businesses. A percentage of work is small orders and breakdowns. We are keen to expand our business and gain new customers in 2003. We specialise in sizes from 0.2mm wire to 10mm wire. Materials used are; HS3 Plain, Music Wire, 302 Stainless, 316 and 304 Stainless, Phosphor Bronze, Brass, Copper, Beryllium Copper, Mild Steel and Alloys. CBS has CNC automatic coiling machines for compression, extension, torsion and magazine type springs. We also specialise in garter springs.

The company manufactures most spring products including compression springs up to 11mm wire, extension and torsion springs up to 9.5mm, die springs in rectangular section material and pressed metal components and springs up to 3.5mm thickness in mild steel, CS70, etc. Also high volume multi-slide presswork, special wireforms, wave washers, flat and disc springs. Most materials are worked including carbon and stainless steels, phosphor bronze and beryllium copper.
